REHEARSAL COORDINATOR

Abi is our most long standing SoS member. She whips us into shape with her weekly warmups, often aided by her very athletic cat Lightning.

Anna is a professional Bassoonist and uses that musical expertise to keep SoS on beat. Once, she saved the day by singing the words to the fling while dancing when our music cut out mid-performance. Her fluffy puppies are SoS’s biggest fans!

ASSISTANT CHOREOGRAPHER

Ciara is our most Scottish member because she immigrated from Scotland just to join SOS NYC (probably). She's also a music teacher and doesn't mind when we ask, "they call it WHAT in Scotland?!"

SOCIAL MEDIA DIRECTOR, CHOREOGRAPHER

Emily brings the drama to every performance! An ice cream aficionado, she likes to celebrate a job well done with a trip to her favorite ice cream shops in the city.

Larissa is a dental student and championship dancer we stole from Canada. Canada, you can't have her back!

DANCER

Leslie is a double threat - she plays the bagpipes AND she dances! She is also a dedicated cat mother and has planted way more trees than you have.

TREASURER, SECRETARY, COSTUME MANAGER, IT

Libby is the SoS queen of spreadsheets, always keeping the group organized. When she’s not dancing or crunching numbers, she likes to knit (often with her fellow dancers).

Mariah has danced in more countries than the rest of SoS combined! With all that international performance experience, she has also become the official SoS makeup guru.

PERFORMANCE COORDINATOR, FUNDRAISING & OUTREACH

Marjorie is the social butterfly of SoS. She’s incredibly involved in the wider NYC Scottish community and isn’t afraid to jump on stage to freestyle with our favorite celtic bands.

DANCER

Molly abandoned her NY roots to go to school in DC. She famously takes excessive public transport to get to dance class. You can find her dancing along the east coast and beyond!

MEMBERSHIP DIRECTOR

Stephanie loves welcoming new members as Membership Director and is known for arriving to all events 5 minutes late, but with iced coffee in hand.
